What Computer is best for playing Sims 3?

Why did my computer just randomly restart when I was playing Sims 3?

• Hello. I was just playing Sims 3 Pets + Late night for my PC. And then I saved it. and I think (hope) it finished saving and then it was closed and it went to the desktop which also closed. And then it restarted. I use a cooling pad. and I just connected another one just in case its because of overheating. Thank you in Advance.

  how exactly did the restart happen? did it say windows logging off then shutting down and then it restarted? or it suddenly restarted just like that? if it's the 1st case it's ok even if it happened alone. there were some softwares updating in the background like windows update or an antivirus update. when the update finishes a restart is needed and sometimes they happen automatically and whatever you are doing will close if it's a windows update then it's better you control when the updates and restarts happen instead of the computer updating when it wishes. change the windows update settings if it's the 2nd case then that's bad. monitor your pc. if it happens a lot then your windows is bad. back up your files, format and reinstall windows. try a different windows if you can get the new drivers
