My pet rabbit is shaking after being outside?

How did my rabbit die?

  • last night i lost my favouite pet rabbit billy he was 4 years old and a brown dutch rabbit. He was fine then he suddenly he tried to flop onto his side but he landed funny he ran behind the sofa and then got tangled up in some cables, i then picked him up and he went all floppy and was shaking and having spasms. he kept going floppy so i rung a emergency vet and they said rap him up and keep him warm i deid that also i was massaging his heart and back to stimulate his breating. he had trouble breathing and was heaving and gasping for breath he then stopped breathing and his heart stopped at that point his bowles relaxed and as you can guess he made abit of a mess. i dont understand what happened he seemed fine untill he tried to relax on his side he has never got tangled up in the cables before and he has been a house rabbit since we got him.. i would like to know the mystery of his death he didnt make any screaming noise or anything. he was a beloved pet that i doted on im soo sad hes gone. i really dont know wat could have killed him ??? nand i also would like to know if there was anything else i could have done to save him i did try everything i knew but it wasnt enough :'( xxxx

He probably was old?..i dont know.

from the way it sounds when he tried to lay down he might have pinched a nerve near his spinal cord causing a chain reaction that affected his brain thus causeing the organ problems that prevented his breathing. all in all there was nothing you could have done because no matter what this was an internal problem.

He maybe had a heart attack, or somewhat got scared to death...they can get scared quite easy. I'm sorry for your loss.
