What kind of household objects can be turned into guinea pig toys?

Guinea pig and rabbit suggestions (toys,accessories,etc)?

• Okay! So- I recently got a tad bit of extra money and I need some suggestions. I already have a cage ready to go for the guineapigs (because currently the momma and babies are getting cramped in theirs) thus, i got an extra one. Yet- the poor things have to get bored. What kind of toys can they have that will be long lasting- they do not like cardboard. They turn their nose to it. They adore tunneling, but don't like plastic tunnels. I'm so confused on what to get them. I love all my piggies and my rabbits and I don't want to see them bored. I get such joy seeing them 'popcorn' when they get excited and so far the only thing they have done that over is when my chihuahuas come up to the cage and play with them. . . :/ OH! Another thing- I have a male who /insists/ on peeing just outside of the cage towards my females. . . I know its marking his territory- and I find it rather funny... But, it's becoming a mess- any suggestions? Last question- do guineapigs like music? If I turned on a pocket radio near their cage would that entertain them?

  You can make fleece tunnels for them to burrow through. Try some apple branch sticks - yummy and satisfying for piggies to chew on. My cavies love racing across the living room floor, from under one chair to the next. You can try a small cat ball, one of the jingly kind, to see if they have an interest in playing with it. As for the male peeing, he is letting the girls know that he is a boy. You won't be able to solve that problem as long as he can see or smell the females. He will always pee outside their cage. You might want to try one of those enzyme potty-stain removers available from the pet store to help clean up the mess, but he will continue to pee there until the females are gone.
