Why does my hamster keep falling asleep randomly?

Why does my hamster fall backwards into her tunnel den?

I got my dwarf hamster from a pet store 6 months ago and she lives in the Habitrail systems, where the tunnels all connect. Well recently I've noticed she has been walking into her tunnel, turning around and falling backwards into her "den"/where i keep her food (http://www.habitrail.com/ovo/eng/products/add_den.php?color=white) - that is what the den looks like. She doesn't do it all the time and only there. Can anyone help me and explain why she does this?
