Chicken bones have salt on them from cooking. The salt combined with the fact horses will chew on anything hard, even small stones, is why your horse is chewing them. Bread is just baked wheat, a form of grain. It is good for your horse. Things soaked in chemicals are not good for your horse, nor are meat products.
