Don't be tempted to copy generic templates out there and get out of your comfort zone. Remember, you are selling your skills in a huge marketplace and always think why should anyone hire your services in the first place. A cover letter and a two-page resume will work fine. Your cover letter is your elevator pitch where you must point out the why of the hiring process, like why should your prospects keep on reading for more.
