What jobs can a 15 year old get with animals?

  • my mom thinks i should get a dog and she doesn't want to pay for my pointless stuff anymore lol... i am 14 right now, i can't get a job til im 15 i think i really love animals and i volunteered at the animal shelter for about a month what are some jobs i can get? or any other jobs...? thanks

    you can check with small pet stores that need help. not anything big like petsmart- just a small place. ....or you could always work at krogers.

It will be hard for you to get a "real" job at a large business like PetSmart or something. A lot of places won't hire until you're 18, for liability reasons. If there are any horse corrals around, usually those are good places for younger people to work. Stalls need to be cleaned, horses to be fed, washed, and groomed. If you're interested in large animals, I would try a place like that. Or maybe a goat dairy or somewhere like that. There's PLENTY of dirty jobs to be done around animals = >
