Fun dog poll: What do you feed your dog? And what is your dog's fave toy? rest in more detail?

I feed my dogs Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Potato and Duck kibble. Their fave toys are kongs frozen and filled with peanut butter. While I wouldn't feed most of the foods you listed, if I had a dog with medical issues who needed a prescription food I would turn to either the prescription Science Diet line or the Purina Veterinary Diets. Both are good foods, esp for urinary stone dissolution, diabetics, heart conditions etc.

I feed my dogs raw and Royal Canin and Castor and Pollux as needed. I would not feed those crap foods. Dogs are better off with dog-appropriate table scraps than with beef-flavored extruded garbage. One of my dogs does not know how to play as she spent 10 years tied in somebody's backyard. One loves stuffed toys. One loves squeaky toys shaped like hammers.

I feed my dog Blue Buffalo lamb and rice kibble along with Blue Buffalo canned food (usually lamb or venison.) My dog loves plush toys and mini tennis balls when we're playing fetch. I got him a plush Monkey dog toy from Target that only has stuffing in the head and feet -- this seems to have deterred him from trying to rip the stuffing out... I would definitely not feed the other kibbles listed; my dog gets very gassy and defecates an obscene amount if he eats low-quality food. Feeding him nutritious food makes him happy and healthy, so it's a win win.

Mine eats Canidae ALS. Her favorite toy of all time is the Kong StuffABall. http://spoiled-pups.com/kong-stuffaball-p-9.html I'm lucky enough to be able to afford more expensive food, but there are many who can't and that's OK too. My dog does very poorly with corn, so I'd have to find something in the brands you mentioned that had no corn (which doesn't leave many options!)

I feed my dog Purina Fit & Trim. I have tried many of those pricey high quality foods but he refuses to eat it. He is a recovering cancer patient too so it bothers me even more about the food since there are so many others out there that are better for him. As far as a favorite toy? He has too many too fit in his large toybox and he only likes the stuffed ones. He goes through stages, right now his favorite toy seems to be his lamb, last week it was his rhino. I betting he will go back to his big floppy dog soon.
