How can i breed my Betta fish?

Can I breed a betta fish in a 2.5 gallon tank?

• if I disposed of a few eggs is it possible? I mean would my betta blow a nest and the female have kids with the male in a 2.5

  Yes it's possible they would breed. Conditions dictate it more than actual space. But basically the "bed is big enough". Though most recommend a 10 with a divider. But I'd do some more reading on breeding them. There's a lot more than, comfy bed, roses, and some romantic music. Disposing of a "few eggs"...funny. You'll be getting 200 or so eggs. Of which you'd be lucky if 50% survived initial birthing...very few actually live. The trouble is with the water conditions, the current/flow of the water, and finding food small enough for them to eat (and the almost constant feeding they require). I'd do some more research. There's a lot more than one simple question that should be asked.
