What food from a house do minnows eat?

My minnows wont eat anything. I even tried fish flakes and others food any help please ?

    well they are schooling fish who need 6+ and 20 gallons for 6-8 they are very active well once they have a big tank loads of company and a filter they will be fine and they are not tropical fish so no heater :)

If you caught them catch some live insects from their pond. (I don't normally recommend this but they are wild). If you got them from the store buy some frozen blood worms. But fish can go a week without eating so you should be fine

What kind are they? I have 2 rosy reds/fathead minnows. I feed them goldfish flake food. They love it!
