What else can i do to help my betta?

Anything I can do to help my betta?

  • One female betta attacked another female betta and now the attacked betta is burrowing in the gravel. She will swim to the top to get air but otherwise stays on the bottom. She was clocked pretty good in the head by the other betta and it drove the attacked betta into the gravel. Is there anything we can do to help her? We all ready took the aggressive female out of the tank...

  • Answer:

    Keep the tank as clean as you can. Also raise up the temp. a couple degrees. These two things should help her. Don't put the other female back in with her. If you're wanting to keep a sorority you need at least 5 females and at least a 10 gallon tank. Good Luck :]

I suggest you take the hurt fish out of the tank so she can recover. Find some kind of medicine or put salt in the water just to help ( not table salt). Then let nature take it's course because since she was attacked no disease medicine on the market could possibly help. Keep a close eye on her, if she's strong enough she will live. Good luck !
