How to Earn a lot of Money?
-
On the 4th and 5th of June our neihborhood (sorry for horrid spelling...) is having a bunch gargage sales. I really want to get some bubble eyed goldfish and a nice, large tank. All together the total comes to $137-$145. It seems like a lot, but it is for the food, "chemicals" and medicines, tank, filter, decorations...etc. I currently have 2 bucks and i'm slowly tricking my sister into helping me by the stuff after the garage sale. I'm selling old clothes, books, posters, and stuff like that. All together (if I sell all my stuff), i could get about between $30-$40. That is way from enough though! I'm 12 and I need to know what else i could do. My little sister is 9. Last year we had a lemonade stand at the garage sale and earned about $35. I think I should do that and sell muffins or something. I can only by the fish tank and stuff if I earn the money. My parents will help pay like $20 but other than that, i have to earn all the money. Any ideas on how I could earn some cash?!?! Thanks!

Answer:
Do you know neighbors well? When I was that age I made some money weeding people's gardens, walking their dogs for them, etc. But be safe about it, only approach people you and your parents know, see if anyone needs some chores done.

I agree with the 1st answerer, also the lemonade stand at the garage sale is a great idea, and yes you could try selling muffins as well. I had 3 kids come to my door yesterday and ask if I needed any weed pulling, I said yes and asked them to pull the weeds out of the cracks in my driveway. These kids were younger than you, between 6 and 8 probably, anyways they worked for about 5 minutes each, then my husband gave them each a capri sun drink and the little boy squirted it all over my front yard. Any how my husband paid them each $2.00. I thought it was a little much, seeing how they didnt really do anything. So my point is that I would love to have a 12 year old in my neighborhood to help me pull my weeds. So best wishes to you.
I love your gusto on this!!! Bake sale and stuff is a good way to go.. I use to do a lot of odd jobs to help fund my fish adventures.. I would ask the people around you if you can do stuff for them.. Good luck I hope you pull it off... Sometimes you can find a deal on craigslist.. I go my 60gal and stand for 20 bucks...
well instead of buying the tank at the garage sale why not buy it at a store where they sell 2 gallon tanks for 20-30$ and the decorations and food might cost Little more. you ll end up spending about 90-110$. i spent 90$ on a tank that came with a filter 2.5gallons, another filter thinking that the other one would suck, a 7.5 watt heater,a digital thermometer. i probably spent so much because of the tank that was about $40.
Well, I had a similar problem. What I did is i made posters for babysitting and you can mow lawn. Its pretty easy. Lemonade stands wont do that much money.
