Answer:
I would recommend smaller fish. To find out how many fish you can put in a tank, it depends on the size of the fish- every inch of a fish equals one gallon of water. So, for example, if all your fish are half an inch each, the maximum amount of those half-an-inch fish is 20. However, the amount of fish you can put in your tank also depends on how good your filter is- if your filter is really efficient, you may be able to put more in. Fish that are good for small tanks include neon tetras, emerald eyes, white clouds, mollies, cory catfish, betta, platyies, danios, feeder or fancy guppies (feeder guppies are cheaper), swordtails, and possibly small angelfish and plecostomus, and kuhli loaches. (If you get zebra danios, I would suggest not to get neon tetras, as the danios are more aggressive in smaller tanks and may try to harm the tetras.) If your'e still confused, you can ask a pet shop owner, or you can try this site: http://www.howmanyfish.com/

Swordtails may grow a bit big for a 10gal, but probably not so badly it will die. Rasboras are schooling fish, but they stay small, generally suitable for a 10gal, so I would get some more of whatever rasbora you have. Build them up to a school of 6 or so, then that and the swordtail will have the tank pretty much fully stocked. Ian
You want to go with smaller fish species. Tetras are good. I really like red phantoms & x-ray tetras because they are transparent. Here are 2 articles from my website to check them out. Red Phantom Tetras http://exotic-aquariums.com/red_phantom.%E2%80%A6 X-Ray Tetras http://exotic-aquariums.com/X-Ray_Tetra.%E2%80%A6 I also think Glofish are pretty cool. They were created in a laboratory by combining coral & jellyfish luminescent DNA with common Zebra Danios. They are brightly colored and believe it or not, they glow under a black light. Glofish http://exotic-aquariums.com/glofish.html All three of this are smaller variety fish. And I believe they can all be purchased at your neighborhood Petco. The rule of thumb for stocking smaller fish species is 1 gallon for every 1 inch of adult fish.
small fish like guppies endlers and platys cory cats a inch per gallon
If the rasbora is no bigger than 1 inch put 6 more of the same type.
