HELP! One of my peacock eel's fins wont move! (10 POINTS!)?

  • Just now one of my fish bit my peacock eel because it went to its property. After the bit, my eel went like crazy... swimming on the ground rubbing its fin on the floor. Now its back to normal but one of its fins wont move anymore. its swimming normally but just that one fin. please help. is there anything i can do to heal it. Will my eel die?

  • Answer:

No your eel will not die the fin may be injured and the eel is recovering from the attack. Make sure the water temperature is right and feed him a varied diet to help boost recovery. Your eel should be back to normal in a week or 2.

Other answers

No your eel should not die, it may just be in shock over what happened...a lot of times fish's and eel's and such, do not adapt well if something changes or happens around them. Make sure your eel is safe and is fed properly, and the fin should heal just fine:)
