Would you ever feed your Piranhas, Oscars or large Chichilds live food such as mice, birds, other fish...?

I don't agree with buying feeders from the stores b/c they are treated liked feeders (ie: they are usually sick with something). I have fed small guppy fry to my angels and will to large Jack Dempseys. This is sparingly though b/c in reality they don't really need it. I also feed live black worms, shrimp, and other things. I do not see the point in feeding live mice, chicks, ect... There is no need for it, it really is just cruel. If someone feels like they must feed mice it is better to feed frozen mice anyways. There are definitely better ways to get your fish the nutrition it needs.

i dont think its worth putting the feeder animals under the stress of that, its not even giving them a fair chance to escape,some people say, YEA ITS NATURE, but its not, i dont think its fair.

There is no need to feed that type of food really, most will or can be conditioned to take dead food, like frozen prawn. The only live food I feed my fish are worms or live river shrimp, crickets to my archer fish but I do confess of feeding mosquito fish to pike live bearers, but I keep all types of odd balls from wolf fish piranha, pike cichlids, the list goes on and don't feed live fish to any of them. Ive seen youtube and seen people feed live fish or animals as food, I personally feel its not needed.

I feed my piranhas rosy red minnows as a treat sometimes. I use these sticks made from other fish and a mix of other stuff as their regular food. Some people think feeding live is wrong. I agree to some point. They shouldn't be video taping the feeding and stuff. Some people use mice and stuff for their fish. I will not do this. It is unnecessary and not good for the fish. I am fine with feeding feeder fish, as this is what they were bred to be,food and it helps fish stay active and my piranhas have gotten nicer looking since I have been using feeder fish as a staple in their diet.
