What fish should i get for my tropical fish tank?

  • i have had a large tropical fish tank for about 3 years but recently to cut a long story short, a disease killed all but 3 of my fish, leaving a tiger barb, a hoplosternum thoracatum cat fish and a bristle nose sucker fish, what new fish should i get that would go well with my current fish and look good too ?

    Well how many gallons is your tank? That would help a lot. Well if it really is a big tank then you could put in more Barbs or Oscars.

well what I suggest is that you clean the tank first. Even though the fish are alive does not mean that the bacterial is still not there. They could have become resistant to it. apart from that anything will really go with those fish, they are all peaceful, just make sure you get other peaceful tank mates. Since you started with barbs I suggest also that you keep with those, mainly because they are a schooling type of fish
