Can FedEx delivery be early if it's in your city?

On the 7th i order a aquarium filter it was shipped on the 8th to be delivered by FedEx Home Delivery?

    fedex home delivery works from TUES-SAT if you didn't get it on saturday, expect it on a TUESDAY this is the only branch that works those types of days; i was one of those drivers

It arrived today (Tuesday) and was left on the front porch. When someone uses Fedex to ship to me, I have to check the front door and weird places for a PostIt delivery notice. I have had FedEx hold on to boxes of live fish for no reason, or on a snowy winter day leave a box of tropical fish on a snow drift in the middle of my long front yard. If the surcharges were not paid, you may have to pick it up.
