How to care for button baby quails?

• i take eggs out every day and apperently i miss a couple and now they hatch they are baby buttons quails and this is the first hatch i ever had they are 4 days old and idk how to feed them or give them water they get wet when i give them water and i try to dry them .. please help me how to care for baby button quails? how to feed them? how to give them water? how long until they can get out of the brooder? thanks for the info

  Baby quails, no matter the species, are very independent and eat solid food from birth. They are a lot like baby chickens. So, you do not feed them mush and you do not feed them anything through a syringe, if this is what you are trying to do. WATER: Water should be supplied in a shallow tray. Put marbles in the bottom, this prevents the young quails from falling in and drowning, which can happen very easily. FEED: You should feed young quails a diet of chick crumb or chick starter. This I believe is fed to young chickens, it is especially made for chickens and quails. LEAVING THE BROODER: Around 3-4 weeks under a 35-37.2°C (95~99°F) and reduced by 3.5°C (7~8°F) a week till they are fully feathered. The fluff on your baby quails, by the way, are not feathers. This is down I believe. CARE: Well, there isn't much to do. Don't handle them, check them every once and a while to see if they have tipped their food over, but that is it. Make sure the water is clean and change it daily, make sure the chicks do not fall into the water and get too wet. They could get cold and this may kill them if they do happen to fall in.
