Is it illegal to use a free newspaper to distribute your own flier?

Can i use newspaper or shredded newspaper for bedding for my snakes cage?

• right now i use regular pine bedding i think and i know its not the best but its what we had since we have a rabbit too and thats what i use for the rabbits cage,but now im running out of bedding and have so much newspaper,can i line the tank of my snakes cages and that would be fine,i just dont know because of the heat pads that are hooked on the bottom of them,will the heat matter to the newspaper or no,and is it best to line the newspaper on the tank or shred the newspaper and throw it in like bedding?

  If your heat mat is IN the snakes enclosure i would advise against it, this wouldn't cover the heat mat enough and it could get far to hot and burn your snake, also newspaper would not be good for humidity and that can cause problems depending on what type of snake he/she is, you could try putting the heat mat underneath the tank to reduce the risk of burns though, and mist the tank alot to fix humidity problems if any occur, i hope this helped!
