Why is my ball python bleeding from the mouth?

My ball python has something red on the front off his mouth ?

    Sounds like he has blood there from jamming her nose into the cage, trying to get out. Let him out now and again for exercise and recreation, and she will be less likely to behave this way. Also, the poor thing has gender identification disorder, which may be the entire problem.

Its probably just your substrate.. Go to the vet if you feel like it could be a big harm to your snake, if you can try to get it out by rubbing its head.. if its really small it could cause impaction and cause your snake an internal cut.. try what you can and if i lasts much longer i would call your local breeder.... hope i helped.
