How do i change my picture by my nickname?

I wanna change my puppy's name? Suggestions & Pics included.?

  • I'm 15 yrs old & I'm picking up my first dog ever Saturday from the airport - a mini schnauzer. It's a girl & the breeders said her name/nickname is Allie. She's 8 &1/2 weeks old now & I wanna change it. Should I? I just don't like that name for her at all, and I don't want her to have a name like - Laura, Jessica, Debbie. I like names like Snow, Pepper, Rocky (I don't like these names for her though) Idk how often these people call her Allie & if she's going to be stuck on the name or get confused if i try to change it. Also can you give me a dog (not human) name for her please? Something that relates to her look. Like - Oreo, Moo, Cow. But those are boy names so I don't like those for her. I was thinking Sundae.     She may be confused at first but she will learn her new name. I volunteer for the Humane Society and we give dogs names and people change them all the time. I will admit I'm disappointed you bought from a breeder- never a good idea. There are so many dogs that need homes- even purebreds are in animal shelters. Please consider that next time. My friend just named her dog Sundae. I have a cutie for you- Reeses! (My dogs name!) :-) Or think of another snack that you like. Peanut, mocha or cappuccino?

Changing her name will be fine. Names are meant to only be used for commands and as she is obviously too young to know these yet, you can teach her to be whatever name you wish :) She looks like a Gem or Flossie. Maybe Poppy too? She's too cute :D

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww how cute! call me stupid but i could see pinky as a cute name just puttin it our there or rosie actually yeah rosie's cuter mayb ur right with moo though i think thats sweet I don't think you should call her sundae, i feel its kinda cute but a bit too different same with oreo oh and not cow coz people mite think ur annoyed at her.

What do I think? You totally just got scammed by a BYB or puppy mill and either your dog won't come at all or it will look nothing like the picture. Never have a dog shipped to you. You'll learn your lesson Saturday.

I love the name Sundae! That's actually a very cute name! :) Hey I know what you mean, I have had MANY family dogs but I got my first dog in June, for my 16th birthday. She is a 3.6 pound silky yorkie :) her name was Roasily but I didn't like that name.. I eventually named her Bella.. It only took her about a week to get use to her new name:) it doesn't matter what she was called.. its what you wanna call her because she is YOUR dog now :) another thing.. im sure you already know this but if this is your first dog then you will need to put her on a schedule (ex: playing, potty, exercise, brushing, baths) good luck and i hope that y'all are happy together :) lol
