What jobs could I get with 2 years of Vet Tech?

  • My high school offers a career center that has 2 years in Vet Tech since we can go our last 2 high school years. I plan on going to college for Fashion Design and making my main focus career wise, but during college and if I need a job I could use what I learn from Vet Tech. What kind of jobs could I get with only 2 years? Would they be good money making wise?

So it sounds like you are taking a veterinary assistant program if you are taking high school courses. As a vet assistant you can work in a veterinary hospital; work in a boarding kennel; work in a grooming shop; work in a pet store, etc. You can also do some side businesses like pet sitting, dog walking, and poper scooping. You might be better off getting jobs in your major field of study to get more experience and to build your resume'.
