My dog ate chicken bones?

Get him to the vet NOW - if he has blockage, you will lose him - he probably needs x-rays and emergency surgery to live. Added - so just sit around at home and wait till a bone pierces something inside and the dog is bleeding. I don't care if you are low on cash - the welfare of the dog is at stake here and you are responsible for the dog's health. Either get the dog to the vet today to be x-rayed and surgery if necessary, or start digging a hole to bury him. He's not gonna "get better at home" - he's in danger of bleeding to death when a bone pierces his insides.

Chicken bones are extremely sharp, that is why they are dangerous to dogs. I would call the vet and consult with them first. If they feel its an issue they will tell you to bring the dog in. The last thing you want is for one of those chicken bones to cut open his intestine and kill him from internal bleeding.

Get your dog to the vet as FAST as you can. These bones can kill him with no problem. And if it goes to the cost of the therapy i would say up to £500 it should be no more.

You may have already waited too long. Your dog needs a vet and now! Those who are telling you that he is in the clear are WRONG! If he's puking up bones, then they are still in his stomach. And when he pukes them up you run the risk of them puncturing his esophagus on the way back up. PLEASE - get you little guy to the vet NOW! No one likes to pay the vet - but no one likes to bury their dog either! Please take him in!

pray and take it to the vet. i bet you that you will see blood coming out of its bum and it wont stop until you see the vet. really, it wont stop. if you just saw him gulp it, maybe you can give him 2 tablespoons of like 1% hydrogen peroxide down his throught really fast. but that will just make him throw up and, it could scratch him stomache and throught. so.. its always an emergency once its past his stomache.

well is he still eating ? if he is then there is nothing to worry about, if hes not then he needs to go to the vet once the bones are in his tummy they will be broken down by the acid in there

your chihuahua ate like 20 chix bones? that's hard to believe. if he's puking up a little yellow bile with little bits of chix bones, that's a normal reaction. Usually it happens sooner than 3 days later tho. i think if more damage was going to be done (e.g. splinters perforating or blockages) , it would have been done and showing symptoms by now. looks like your dog's got some undissolved bits that are probably going out both the front and back ways. If there are no other symptoms, by now, three full days later, you're probably in the clear.
