Who Got Busted In Mobile County In The Last 24 Hours?

I need some help, my cat got spayed less than 24 hours ago and she keeps jumping around. HELP?

  • So I finally got my year old cat spayed and I need a little advice, any advice! First she flipped out when I put the e collar on but a few hours later and she kept licking her sore so I put it on, she was stuck in reverse for a bit but at least we have that solved. Now she keeps trying to just up on the window but it's too high. It has been less than 24 hours and I am scared s***less that she is going to ruin her suture.even though he got laser after the surgery. If anyone knows how I can keep my cat from trying to jump that would be amazing, keeping her in the kennel til she calms down isn't working for me and she looks so sad. Thank you in advance! *And basically I just want to know why is she trying to do this, you would think the medications would have worn off so she would know what she can handle and what she can't*

  • Answer:

I would either confine her to the kennel (sad look or not) or put her in a small room with not too much stuff to jump or climb on for the next few days.

I think you should try to keep her confined in a cat cage for the time vet should advise you. By the way vet is indeed the best one to ask about bye

I had the same problem with my 4 month old cat. After getting her fixed, she ran around my house like nothing had phased her. They say that they're not supposed to jump/run. But besides keeping them penned up, what can you do? She's doing great! And none of her stitches ripped!
