Will I be able to get the cat urine smell out?

Please Help Me Get Out the Smell of Cat Urine Out of My Futon?

  • I tried Advance Cat Spray.(Red Bottle) Didn't work! I even tried washing the Futon. Didn't work. I really need some expert advice how to get rid of the urine smell! Thanks :(

    My cat peed on my bed...over and over....None of the regular pet products worked. For small spots shout laundry spray worked fine but she still smelled the urine and kept going back. I finally resorted to pouring bleach/water on it,soaking up the xtra,letting it air dry then buying a plastic sheet,just in case! So far so good..

Take a clean cloth and blot the affected area until you can remove no more wetness, then sprinkle baking soda on the area. The baking soda will bond with the urine and will remove it. After it has set vacuum the area. Also find the reason the accident happened in the first place so that it won't be repeated.

Was it the enzyme based spray, the one with bacteria that break down the urine? It might be impossible to really remove the odor- the urine might be so deep inside the filling that the enzyme spray might not reach down deeply enough. But- you can try- I would use several bottles and pour, not spray them on and let it sit overnight.
