My dad has a bump on his back - what can this be?

Strange Bump on Cats head?

• Well my Cat is like About 5 months old the Most and whenever we give her a Bath she doesnt feel good for a day or two So my dad gave her a bath and shes been looking really sad since these three days and i Dont know why... and she haves this Lump on the back of her head it sticks out and make her hair stick up.. i dont think it hurts her cause when i touch it she doesnt do anything but closes her eyes Like you would pet her she'd close her eyes in pleasure this Bump cant be pleasure tho?... what can it be as of right now i cannot afford to take her to the vet Which is $100 a visit its christmas time and i cant spend that kind of money on a Vet.. shes been acting weird like laying on the floor on her side for long periods of time just laying on her side shes a in door cat so she cant be pregnant she cant go outside What can it be? im worried

  Not to worry here....all cats have a little bump on their heads, just behind the ears and in the center of the head. I am not sure what it is called, But they love it when it is touched, especially if you massage it in a counter clockwise motion. As for the Baths , stop !! A cat does not need a bath, unless it gets In to something really nasty. They have natural oils, and clean themselves very well. Regarding the lying on the side, most cats prefer that, and by exposing their belly to you just means that they trust you, and might like a belly scratch. Being that your kitty is just 5 months old, make sure that you are feeding it kitten food for another five months, so it will have a healthy start. Make sure you are actively playing with him three times a day at least, and good play too. Games like hunting practice and chasing a laser pointer are great fun. Also, any box is like heaven for a cat.
