How do I kill flea EGGS specifically in my home?

Applying flea treatments.?

  • Okay, so I got a kitten over a month ago, and i kept meaning to buy him flea treatment stuff, needless to say i kept forgetting to stop into the animal hospital or vet to get Revolution, anyway today i got a second kitten and she too was full of fleas, so having only 10.00 on me, I went to wal-mart and bought Sergeant's Pretect squeeze on, and when i got home i gave her a warm bath with some dawn ( the Pure one ). Well now I am looking at the package for the flea treatment and see that it sayd flea EGGS! will this still work on getting rid of adult fleas? I mean it had a very very strong scent of something like a rubbing alcohol type smell which i heard will kill them? And I also applied it around the shoulder blade and back of the neck area is that where it should be applied? From now on i plan on getting the vet stuff, this was just to help for now since last year i had a bad infestation of fleas when i first moved into my home and don't want to relive that again! thanks !

    First don't put that store bought flea stuff on you kittens go to the vet and get the Revolution. The other is too strong for kittens and cats alike. It can cause fur loss, poisoning, a very sick kitten. Then if you do use it you can not use any other flea control for over a month. Find your receipt and take it back and get your money back and go to the vet. R P CAT

You can't put treatment on top of treatment on the cats, it gives them an overdose and does permanent liver and kidney damage to them, it's TOXIC. Don't use the Sergeants, they have way too many lawsuits against them for dead pets from their flea meds (google online and look). Get rid of that. Use Advantage or Revolution from the vets, and make SURE it's the right dose for your cat's age and weight. You don't want to poison them.
