My kitten has separation anxiety?

Once a kitten is dewormed do they lose a lot of weight?

• my kitten billie got his deworming pills, and the vet said that they were sure he had worms and to feed him the pill so we did, and now he doesn't have worms, and he's lost a lot of weight and is now refusing to eat very much... the refusing to eat part Might be because i haven't been home very often because i just started school again, and he's never been home by himself for more than a few hours before, and i'm at school for almost the entire day... but he has his brother levi, and they get a long fine.. sometimes my parents are even home when i'm not. but a few people said his lost appetite might be because of separation anxiety... but irdk. he used to be really fat, and i think that was because of the worms, but now he's skinny as hell and i've had to force feed him a few times. he ate a bit of tuna and some cat milk on his own, and he drank some water so he's ok for now, but i just wanna know if this is normal? he barfed today and he's also been having very runny poop.. like as liquidy as water, runny poop, and it looks like he's been having a hard time pooping it out.. and he used to be so full of energy before, then within the length of 2 days he stopped wanting to play much and now he sleeps a lot more. thanks for all of your help. -Jimmy

  After being dewormed, (depending on the deworming medicines) kittens can have very "runny poop". It is also common for the kitten to look much skinnier if he did indeed have worms. Also not eating can be a side effect of the deworming. He might not be eating because he has a "yucky feeling tummy". not wanting to run around too much again could be because he just doesn't feel really good. If he only "barfed" once, I wouldn't worry, just call the vet on Tuesday (or whenever they are open next) If he becomes unresponsive, or is throwing up a lot I would recommend calling the emergency vet.
