Why won't my HDMI cable work?
-
I have a Vizio HDTV and a HP Laptop. They both have an outlet for an HDMI cable. I use to be able to play my Laptop through my TV using an HDMI cable but now all of a sudden it doesn't work. Do I need to change setting on my laptop? Can someone help me please?

Answer:
Most laptops have a function key and one of them tells the laptop what display to use. Toggle through them. The icons are usually lite blue on the laptops keyboard

Like said, you will likely need to press a function key to pass video through your hdmi from the laptop. You also should go into your display settings to make sure you are outputting a resolution supported by the tv.
