How do you program a universal Remote?

• I have recently lost my remote for my discontinued Loewe TV (It's the Loewe Arcada ARC332C) And I want to use a Universal remote. But I have troubled pasts with a universal remote. I do not know how to set one up for a tv so old. I don't know the code for the tv so can I get recommended a controller for the Loewe TV or a universal? Please respond bye

  did the universal remote come with a code book? Normally they include a code book with the codes for various devices. So you would start by looking at the section for TV, then you look for the brand of TV, in your case a "Loewe" and then try the code(s) listed for that brand. Do this one at a time and after every code check the TV operation. Hopefully the code you find will be perfect, if not, you might have to do with a code that gets you most closest to the operation of the TV. Also, have you tried to find the exact TV and remote on sites such as ebay, craigslist and gumtree? I would see if someone has the same exact TV and remote. Good luck
