what kind of stereo system are you talking about? if its a shelf system..buy some composite cable which is red and white cable run that from rear of stereo system to rear of sat tv box. or just unplug the red and white from the back of your tv and plug it into your stereo. If its a home theatre system you can use other options such as HDMI, or optical if they apply.
