The best way to connect any surround sound receiver is to connect all of your source components directly to your receiver. You source components are your devices that produce the video and audio, such as your PS3, a cable converter, satellite receiver, etc. So connect each of your source devices to your Yamaha receiver and then use the video output of the receiver to send a video signal to your TV. Your TV then will basically become a monitor and no sound will be produced through its speakers. It defeats the purpose to have the TV speakers playing while your surround sound is also playing.

ok you will have to find the red and white outs on your tv then find the red and white in on your receiver that should do it
