How can i setup my TV to use my "RCA 300W Blu-ray/DVD" Home Theater System speakers?

It depends what audio output (if any) is available on your TV. Older TVs typically had mono or analog stereo (e.g. red/white RCA jacks) outputs on the back, while newer HDTVs have an optical audio output. If available use the optical output jack (connect using an optical cable) to an optical input on the Home Theatre system. You will have to ensure the HT input is set to whatever port the optical jack is assigned to (e.g. AUX) and the optical output on the TV is set to on (and preferably the internal TV speakers are turned off). The advantage of optical is that it delivers surround sound (assuming your HT system supports it) while analog RCA is either mono or stereo only. Hey there ... what you can do is take the A/V cables (yellow, red, and white) and connect the red and white part of the cable from the TV in the input that should read OUT into the home theater systems of yours that should read TV in .... Once you are watching TV, make sure that you change the setting of the Home Theater to TV so you can hear the sound off the TV through the system. Hope it was easy to understand!
