  • Hey guys need some help in deciding if this brand is any good for theater system.     No it is not, Acoustic Audio is not up to par. It may appear as so with the specs, but I would not believe for a moment you get beyond what you pay for with anything, so is the case with your choice. If the retail price is your budget consider a high powered 2.1 clock radio, like Cambridge Audio, Polk had on the market isonic, excellent choice by any standard. These radios have the same connections and they are made by a far better brand giving you a seriously good sound stage. Another option would be self powered speakers, like Audioengine A2 series for $200 USD new. In my opinion self powered speakers are over looked and they should not be. They bring with them a better chance of being satisfied. Best.

if u can spend couple of bucks more than 250$, Logitech z906 is a good choice for ur desktop pc. ( 500w rms ) it has digital and optical inputs. the bass is awesome ( 165 w ) it has a control pod and a wireless remote. PS-- but if the deepdiscount.com can offer that acoustic audio system for just 78$ , its a great buy.
