Can you play american dvds on australian dvd players?
-
i bought a tv series off ebay its from a america but only two of them are working the rest say disc can not play due to regional restriction
-
Answer:
The short answer is no. The longer one is perhaps. Australia is region code 4 and the US is region code 1. If your player is region free, then you can but chances are it's not so they won't play. It is odd that discs in the same set wouldn't all work though. Have you tried cleaning the discs that don't play? If not clean them and try again. If they still don't work, there may be a problem with the discs.
