Can I record or download a streaming TV show from Netflix on my pc or dvd recorder?

I stream Netflix thru a Roku player and also onto my PC. How would I record it? Would a screen capture software work? Thank you.

you could use a screen capture tool but it wouldn't be very high quality. Netflix has ensured the safety of their videos from being downloaded otherwise they wouldn't have all the content

Yes but it depends on your hardware. If your tv has a video/sound out, then you can record anything on the screen. Mine only has composite out so it will not be blu ray quality, but it will be normal Netflix & tv 480 quality. Screen capture will work when played back at around the same size/sound on your pc. If you try to watch it bigger on say a big screen tv lol well dont cuz it looks & sounds like chit.
