A cable company has billed me too much after I discontinued with them?

Does comcast shut off your cable or internet first if you don't pay?

• First they billed me before hand it seems since I was billed for nearly 2 months at the end of my first month. I plan to pay my bill with my taxes in 2 days but today around 2 the cable went out and it just says not authorized sometimes when I get it to display something on a channel. However my internet still works. Normally when you don't pay with the cable company they shut off the internet first and the cable later on. Is this the way comcast works or what? I had it happen in GA once, I'm in FL now, and they shut off the internet first. I don't recall if the tv was off at the same time though. So do you think they shut the tv off? again it's unusual for the tv to be off before the internet.

  Your internet mite still be on for a few days they shut off the Cable as a last warning kinda. But they will shut it off soon. Have you tried getting an extension from them?
