How to improve xbox live connection?

Idea to improve my xbox live connection?

  • Alright... i have a Verizon 4g LTE MIFI device, it only gives 3g cuz of the place i am in. but anyway... i try to play xbox live by using wifi from the xbox to the device and it plays decent "yellow" bars SOMETIMES. but my idea is to use a USB cord or some wired connection so the xbox to the wifi can be direct. is that possible? even with the new xbox's? or even the 4g lte mifi?

I have an idea for you to start. If you look online you can find websites that will tell you ports that Xbox (Xbox live) uses in order to connection to the internet. Once you have these ports you can from a computer type 192.168.1.1 into your URL where it will take you to your Verizon 4g LTE MIFI. Type in your password and you will enter the devices controls where you should see a tab that say Configuration and under that you will see Port Forwarding and now you just have to enter in those ports you already found. Give that a try.
