How can I delete my twitter account?

  • I decided to tried it. Really tried to like it. But, posting what you just did a few seconds ago is kinda of a hassle. Its just not for me. I have nothing against it. Hey, As long as your having fun and no one gets hurt, Its fine by me. (just don't pester me about your accounts and such) So. How do I delete it?

You have to tweet "I wish to delete my twitter account p-now" This phrase is automatically recognised by the twitter website API software - it will delete your account in 24 hours.

Haha don't listen to that guy that said to tweet "delete my account now" or whatever. It's easy. - log into your account - go to http://twitter.com/account/settings (or just click the settings button at the top of your twitter homepage) - scroll to the bottom where there will be a little blue link that says "Delete my account." - click it and hey presto! you're done :)
