Cant share wireless network?
-
When I try to enable sharing on my wireless network from my wi-fi enabled laptop so I can access the internet from my xbox 360 with an Ethernet cable plugged into both of them. After I check the box that enables sharing in the properties box. I get an error message saying "a lan connection is already configured with the ip that is required for automatic ip addressing" What does that mean and how can I fix it so that I can share the network.

Answer:
1st, make sure you are checking the properties of the network interface that has the internet connection, and not the one that will be sharing it with the X-Box. 2nd, you'll need to use a crossover cable for this; a standard ethernet cable won't work.
