How can I make my wifi stronger?

I am in college and the college campus has wifi. That's great because I can use my iphone internet without all the expensive fees. Problem is although wifi will work outside my building, inside my room I cant connect. Im not too tech-savy and therefor would like to know of any ideas how to get wifi in my room. P.S. Making the actual signal stronger is NOT an option as I don't have access to this. All replies are greatly appreciated.

Contact your college/university's computer/networking department and ask them, as they might have a solution we do not.

if your room is out of concreat...there is no solution, inless you can get it through an ethernet cable then hook up your own wireless router
