Can I use my xbox 360 network adapter to get internet on computer?

I want to put my xbox 360 network adapter into my usb port in computer to gain access to internet. I have a modem and a router and the computer is a older PC it doesnt have wireless internet built in. Can i use the adapter in the USB port in my computer to get internet? answer and i will need to contact you more than once. Thanks

Unlikely. Why else would Microsoft sell Xbox 360 Wireless Adapters if some people have ones for their computer? Have you seen someone use a PC compatible wireless adapter with their Xbox and vice versa?
