Problem while updating IOS on CISCO routers?

• The problem is when i am trying to copy the ios from tftp showing not enough space on flash.. This is the set up of my router 8+8=16mb flash , I have a pcmcia slot which is also 16 mb , so the totall size is 32 mb, and the ios which i am currently using is 10.4mb only I need an upgradation to the version c3640-js-mz.124-25a.bin, which is 30.3 mb... SO How can i load it into the two memory(I mean half will be stored in flash and the remaining will be load in Pcmcia slot.. Any solution..???

  You can't split the file or combine the storage that way, just like you can't store a file on two drives on a computer. You need a larger PCMCIA card. You can get a 4GB PCMCIA card at any office supply store for around $20. To my surprise, a 4GB card worked in my 3700-series router.
