How to find username@domain or Domain/username?
-
I am currently on my desktop and my girlfriends laptop is connected to my wireless internet. When I attempt to connect to her laptop so I can transfer a large file over (the folder is 12.5gb) it says that I must enter a username@domain or Domain/username and a password. I tried putting in her username that she logs into windows with and her windows password but those dont work. How do I go about finding the username@domain or the Domain/username?

Answer:
domains have nothing to do with what you're doing. that's wrong. right click on the file you want "shared" on your network and do he same to the other pc. once both devices are enabled and sharing reboot and you should see the other pc thru the network. no domains required. you need a server OS to have domains
