How to allow xbox 360 through firewall?

How do i connect my xbox 360 to my computer? my xbox 360 is directly connected to a modem/router and i want to?

my question says it all, but i would be really greatfull if someone helped me. oh yea when i turned my xbox 360 on today i got a msg on my computer sayin windows media extender found xbox 360. i followed the instructions and entered the code i saw on the tv onto the computer. everythin goes fine until the computer trys to configure the network. i get an error sayin network or something now found does sthis have to do with my firewall settings? if so can you help me allow xbox360 through AVG firewall and windows firewall? thanks
