What do you look for in a social network website?

  • HI, I am currently trying to figure out what makes people go on myspace and facebook and other sites. I was told that most people want a social network website to be easy to use and simple. They want a clean layout of the site. They want to be able to find friends they know and be able to interact as much as possible with other friends. I would like to know what do you guys look for in a social website? What is some bad things you hate about facebook , myspace twitter or think about things they should improve on? do you like customization of your own page? Just would like to get an idea what people look for in social website that makes them want to use such a website?

    according to me on the social network sites people used to find the friends which are not now in their contact and these sites makes it easy to find people on the same network

i think facebook is pretty good, friendster now has done some update it is getting better than before but still im a facebook fan.
