My dlink computer card will not connect?

i am using an xp with a dlink wireless card. we have a network router and everything but it wont even see the network. it has an ssid but it wont give me a place to put it in

Answer:
Have you installed the driver that came with the card? I do not believe the Wireless network configuration utility is included in desktop XP PCs by default. You will likely need to install a wireless configuration client before you can attempt connecting to network.
