Desktop with 2 NICs?
-
I'm looking for a desktop computer that has 2 network interface cards, preferably with Gigabit ethernet so I can use it as a DHCP Server and Gateway for my network. Cost should be less than $1,000. I'm putting Linux on it so I don't care if it has Windows on it.

Answer:
I've used Linux as you plan and I just used an old crappy machine. A new one isn't needed so long as you don't load any GUI like X, Gnome, or KDE. Linux is just that efficient!
