What does the daily routine of a Network Administrator consist of?

HVAC Technician or Network administrator?

• I really feel confused to choose between 2 careers HVAC Technician or Network administrator? i think hvac is hard working but alot in job market, and network administrator is more interesting but there is no enough jobs in the market... one more question plz if i got my HVAC license from PA do i must only work in Pa thanks for your help guys

  The economy is down right now...HVAC is probably an easier route as far as education and quick jobs. But the economy and market will swing the other way and HVAC will slow and Net-teching will pick up. Hear this....Do what you will find interesting and you like doing! I won't feed you random numbers, but look at the room for growth...HVAC is pretty simple compared to the IT industry and the room for growth might hit a platau pretty fast. Network Administrators start out fairly weak..27,000 - 35,000 around here ( WI< USA ), for bottom of the barrel jobs, but the top is very, very high and never stops growing and you can branch out and specialize in, say, security or database, etc and make in the hundreds in a matter of years. Bottom line is: Do something you enjoy, and you won't have to "work" a day in your life.
