Hi I'm having a problem with my internet, and I'm unsure what to do. The internet connection thing (the computer on the task bar at the bottom with the globe on when connected) constantly flashes. It's been fine for a year and now its been doing this strange thing for a week or so. I have other computers on my network and their connections are all fine. Some details are below: Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6000] Copyright (c) 2006 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. Answer:
Well your IP of 192.168.1.3 means you are connected to the router correctly. And by the fact you have IPv6 in the mix you are prob on vista. I have a problem with my vista machine every now and again, it will remember the wireless password connnect to the router but the password will be incorrect. I resolve this by logging into the router, and changing the password to the exact same. and save the settings. --------------------------------------… go to internet explorer, type in 192.168.1.1 you will get a login box appear. it could be admin and password, if not please check your manual for this info. When you are in here, you should see a wireless menu. I dont know where it is exactly have a look about. once in here change the passphrase to what you know it already is to save messing up the other computers if possible. If you dont know the password, change it to something you will remember and be aware you will need to change this in each of your wireless computers when you next logon.
